OBS LAST WEEK!
was super damn fun. even though we had to sleep in collapsing bashas like sardines, get bitten by a million sandflies/mosquitoes, wash our own utensils, row for seven hours straight, trek for five hours with fourkg backpacks, feel slimy all the time from mosquito repellent & sunblock & sweat & mud & goodness knows whatelse, eat canned turds (mushrooms, sardines etc) straight from the can with our fingers among 32 people, listen to bangla music from johore throughout the night, get burned by the sun beyond recogntion, sleep in fear of wild boars, get complained at for not doing work(: , get food rations stolen by wild dogs, climb up six storeys on a ladder for flying fox, eat out of mess tins, go w/out a shower for two days, dig a hole to relieve ourselves, put up with an instructor with a weird sense of humour (wa-tah!), miss home, build a raft, and everything else. it still had it's pros, like having melia & jolene in my watch, how lucky can you get! love you guys, the drong song(: and super nice instructors candy& clay, and a funky buddy group.
saturday was the sicc biathlon, fun fun(: and pleasant. could still run, surprisingly, must have been from all the trekking done in obs! & then had to rush off for snyto practice, and like everyone stared even though I was like two minutes late? or maybe twenty. played bizet's carmen, I had no choice but to sightread due to lack of practice. then saturdaycatclass cos I cant make it on sundays anymore cause of cycling trng at changi coastal, and a very pmsy person, and then mass with meg & edmund & jeremy, kept getting scolded for talking but it was fun.
today training at changicoastal, drafted behind coach ken for half a loop!(: he went at like 37k/h, madddnesss. then talked to samsim about obs!and then went out for lunch & bought a new pair of birkenstocks for my birthday. on wednesday don't forget don't forget!(:
